Gem Avocado Tree is a compact, high-yielding avocado variety prized for its excellent fruit quality and manageable growth habit. It produces medium to large avocados with pebbly green skin and rich, creamy flesh that rivals the flavor of Hass. Known for its consistent production and upright form, Gem Avocado is ideal for home gardens, patios, and small orchards. This evergreen tree thrives in warm climates and performs best in sunny locations with well-draining soil, offering dependable harvests with minimal maintenance.


Select a sunny to partially shaded location with excellent drainage. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball and plant the tree at the same depth as it was growing in its container. Backfill gently, firm the soil, and water thoroughly. Keep soil evenly moist during the first growing season. Apply mulch around the base, keeping it away from the trunk.
