This tree typically grows 15–20 feet tall with a rounded canopy and glossy green foliage. In early spring, it produces showy white blossoms, followed by abundant fruit that ripens in late spring to early summer. Rainier cherries are excellent for fresh eating, desserts, and gourmet uses. Rainier Cherry Trees perform best in full sun and well-drained soil, with regular watering during establishment and fruit development. A compatible pollinator, such as Bing or Lapins Cherry, is required for fruit production.
